ARRL Field Day 2013 Jun 22,23rd
Field Day is always the fourth full weekend of June, beginning at 1800 UTC (12:00 Noon) Saturday and running through 1800 UTC (12:00 Noon) Sunday. Field Day 2013 will be held June 22-23, 2013.
This Year Field Day will be held at the home of Jon and Pat Carter located at 5555 Hwy 93 South, Whitefish. Driveway is directly across the street from the Rocky Mountain Lumber Co., 2nd house down the driveway.
Field Day is a time where many aspects of Amateur Radio come together to highlight our many roles. While some will treat it as a contest, most groups use the opportunity to practice their emergency response capabilities. It is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate Amateur Radio to local elected community leaders, key individuals with the organizations that Amateur Radio might serve in an emergency, as well as the general public.
Setup will be friday night and/or Saturday morning. Last day is Sunday to finish operating and dismantle. We plan on having a lunch Saturday. Please come out and enjoy the fun and fellowship.
