HAM RADIO CLASS FOR TECHNICIAN LICENSE

A class is being offered in November for the Technician class license. The class will run two Saturdays in November, on the 5th and the 12th. The hours will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on November 5 and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on November 12. The class and testing will be held in the conference room on the second floor in the Whitefish Depot. The address is 500 Depot Street, Whitefish.

The testing session will be held immediately following the finish of class on November 12 at 2:00 pm (approximately). TESTING WILL BE OPEN TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO TEST; TECHNICIAN, GENERAL OR EXTRA. Testing fee is $14.00 and if you are upgrading your license we will need a signed copy of your current license.

We will be using the Gordon West, Technician Class 2014-18 FCC Element 2 Radio License Preparation 8th Edition. We highly recommend that you get your book before hand and study! We have books available and they are included in the cost of the class.

Cost of the class is $35.00. If you have your own current Gordon West book, we will deduct $21.00 from the cost of the class. PRE-REGISTRATION FOR THE CLASS IS REQUIRED! Please contact Leo Yudysky at lyudysky@centurytel.net or by calling 863-2680 and leave a message.
