RM Noise AI-based Noise Filtration for Amateur Radio

By W7YP - Posted on 16 September 2026

This is the slide deck used in the September 15, 2026 presentation at the FVARC club meeting.

RM Noise is a free cloud-based AI noise filtration system which can be trained to any kind of noise encountered in an audio stream such as the receive audio from an amateur radio transceiver. It can then remove that noise, making an unintelligible signal copyable.

While designed by hams for hams, it can be used to clean up virtually any analog audio stream.
