RIP Kip Sullivan
It is with sadness that I have to report the recent passing
of Kip Sullivan, N4KIP.
Kip was a regular attendee of our club breakfasts and
meetings and also frequently helped out as control operator for the ARES net.
Please keep his family in your prayers as they struggle with their loss.
NEXT TESTING SESSION FOR AMATEUR RADIO LICENSE OR UPGRADE
The next testing session will be 6:00 pm, Tuesday, May 17, 2016. Testing will be held at the SAR building on Three Mile Dr. in Kalispell, MT.
You will need to bring a photo ID, $14.00, pencils and a calculator, if you wish to use one. If you are upgrading to General or Extra class you will also need a signed copy of you current license.
HOW TO OBTAIN A COPY OF YOUR LICENSE:
Go to http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchLicense.jsp. Search for your call sign.
Click on your call sign.
Click on the ADMIN tab. Click on "Authorization -- Licensee" Your reference copy license will open in a PDF file for printing or saving.

Next event should be Field day at the McGregor Lake group camping area. The club has reserved the large lot just past the host check in. See the club calendar for details. June 25 and 26th.

NEXT TESTING SESSION FOR AMATEUR RADIO LICENSE OR UPGRADE
Our next testing session will be held during FIELD DAY, on Saturday, June 25 at 2:00 pm. We will be in the group campsite at the McGregor Lake West End campground. First turn to the right and just past the host spot. THIS IS THE NATIONAL FOREST CAMPGROUND AT THE WEST END OF MCGREGOR LAKE!!!
McGregor Lake is 32 miles west of Kalispell on Hwy 2.
Remember to bring a copy of your license if you are going to test for an upgrade! Testing fee is $14.00.
