2023 ARRL FIELD DAY EVENT - JUNE 24 and 25

This year’s club Field Day Event will be held this coming Saturday and Sunday, June 24-25, at the Kiwanis Lodge on Little Bitterroot Lake (912 Bitterroot Drive, Marion, MT).  We will begin assembling there Saturday morning in time to give ourselves a few hours to set up before the contest starts for us at 12:00 PM MDT.  The more who show up to help, the more quickly setup can be completed.

The club will have at least two HF radios and antennas set up for the contest and all are invited to operate them.  The general public is welcome to visit and spend some time operating one of our stations under the supervision of one of the club amateur operators. Here's your chance to see what it's like to talk over-the-air to hams around the world!

We will be monitoring the national simplex calling frequency (146.520) for those who wish to contact us for any reason, including a talk-in to the location.

The event ends for us at 12:00 PM MDT on Sunday, after which we’ll tear down all equipment and antennas, clean up the lodge and depart.  Many hands will make this quick work.
