2016 Montana QSO Party
The 2016 Montana QSO Party date has changed!
Due to conflicts of a holiday occasionally landing on the same date as our QSO Party, or, warm spring weather causing low turnouts, we decided to search for a better time to hold the event. Starting this year, we'll hold the Montana QSO Party on the 4th weekend in January. This year, the Montana QSO Party will take place from Friday January 22rd starting at 5pm MDST (0000Z January 23th) running till Saturday January 23th 5pm MDST (0000Z January 24th).

NEXT TESTING SESSION FOR AMATEUR RADIO LICENSE OR UPGRADE
The next testing session for Amateur Radio License or upgrade will be 6:00 pm on January 19, 2016 at the SAR building on Three Mile Drive in Kalispell, MT.
Please bring a picture ID and a signed copy of your current license if you are upgrading. Testing fee is $14.00.

HOW TO OBTAIN A COPY OF YOUR LICENSE:
1. Go to http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchLicense.jsp
2. Search for your call sign.
3. Click on your call sign
4. Click on the ADMIN tab
5. Click on "Authorization -- Licensee"
6. Your reference copy license will open in a PDF file for printing or saving.

The testing session will be at 6:00 pm at the Search and Rescue building on Three Mile Drive in Kalispell, MT. The cost for testing is $14.00. You will need to bring a picture ID and if you are upgrading, you will need to bring a signed copy of your current license.
